I can't confirm this. Is this action-related?

If I stop playback with the space bar and then launch a clip it crashes.
If I adjust a warp marker while playing a clip it sometimes crashes.
It NEVER crashed before Tiger and now it crashes all the time. Should I reinstall Live?
thanks

Hi texas_noise,

firstly, I moved this thread into the "Bugs and Problems" forum.

Furthermore could you provide me with the system crash log of Live:
"~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/Live.crash.log"

Do you use an external audio and/or MIDI interface?
Does it crash also when you use the internal sound?

regards,
Alex

The program crashes with both my Firewire 410 and when running without it. How can I include my crash log? It is really long.

Hi texas_noise,

You can pack it using zip. Because it is a text file it should be good compressable.

Alex

hi texas_noise,
have you made a clean install of tiger or have you just upgraded from panther?
heard of a lot of problems if you just install tiger over panther...

I just upgraded because I am in NY on business and do not have all my software, etc.. to reinstall everything after doing a fresh install.
-How do I include a zip file in my reply to the forum? or should i email my crash log to the techs at Abe?

Hi texas_noise,

thanks for the log file.
A lot of the contained crashes happened in some plug-ins (mainly MAX and Reaktor). Some of the crashes happened also in our code, so we still have to investigate this.

You should also try if the current beta Live 5.0.2b3 behaves better:
