Online collaboration....

Post by fluid » Mon Aug 29, 2005 4:30 pm

What is the easiest way to send a complete Live session file to someone for collaboration? If I save the song as self contained, is there any way to email the Live file and sounds folder together?

I've tried to do it via yahoo mail, but you cannot attach folders, so I end up having to attach 30 or so files, which is a pain. Is there an easier way?

(Free would be good!)
Thanks.

It might not be exactly what you are looking for but it could be worth a go..... try signing up to http://www.digitalmusician.net/ (there is a free option) and see if you can collaborate with other Live users via VST over a broadband connection. I"ve signed up but havn"t had a chance to try it out yet.

zip the .als and project folder into a single zip file...which your collaborator then can unzip maintaining the file structure....then they can open it work it save changes...zip again...send back and so on
