Hi,
I have spent the night playing with my new Push controller, and I can't find a way to load an existing .wav (.aif etc) sample using the controller.
I have tried:
* Add Track of type 'Audio' -> Browse
* Add Track of type 'Midi' > Browse -> Simpler
* Add Track of type 'Midi' > Browse -> Sampler
Thanks,
Dan

Re: Push - can't load a wav/aif sample
You can't load audio samples from Push. It's already been answered in the Push Q&A thread:
viewtopic.php?f=55&t=186306&start=0when creating drumracks containing m4l samplers, do I need to write a loadmess into the buffer objects with a reference location to the audiofiles, or can I make patches with dropfile and use push browser to find the audiofiles I want to use with the patch? If that does not work would maybe a push compatible dropfile or similar object be a good idea, so you can use push to load samples into m4l
I doubt it, we can't load audio files from Push currently, but your wish is noted.

The 'Audio' option in 'Add Track' gave me a different impression. I guess the current workflow is that the user must then select a sample with the mouse, it's not very clear at the moment.
Cheers,
Dan

Re: Push - can't load a wav/aif sample
what you can do is load audio samples into the individual cells of a drum rack...

Hey thanks @lo.ley, just tried that out and it works well!
For reference:
1. Switch to Session view
2. Press 'Browse'
3. Press and hold 'Select' and click a drum pad
4. The pad will go into hot swap mode
5. Browse to the new sample then select this to load it
6. Live will crash..
