Since you're in a good vibe with them, can you ask to also re-implement the way arrangement automations use to work pre-L9
I'm joking, I should do it myself, but, before L9 it was powerful; now it sucks but no one cares, strangely.
I am totally aware of this issue and i do agree with you on this point

...but I mostly use live in session view, Live.
so that's probably why I don't care too much about the new arrangement automation...

Hi,

Please check 9.0.3b2, we've added a preference, which you can also switch it he record button context menu: it reverts the shift click and regular click behavior of both record buttons at once.

Kind regards,

Seems to be working great so far !
Thank you so much, it means a lot.
(i just hope that the fact that it changes both rec buttons' behaviors is not a problem for some users.)

Ummm...Where can I get 9.0.3b please? The latest version shown in my account is 9.02. I have autoupdate enabled, will 9.0.3b update?

+ 1 on the options in pref.

I'm all for adding behavior and abilities in Live.. rather than eliminating them.
