VST like Kaossilator?

Post by Wunjo » Thu Mar 01, 2012 8:59 pm

Hey everyone,

Is there a VST or utlity in ableton that achieves the same effect as the Flex PLay feature on the iKaossilator? For those of who are not familiar, when you swipe your finger in the x-axis it changes the length of the bar and the y-axis changes the tempo. This is used for climatic breaks and fills. Can this be achieved with looper in ableton or is there an easier way?

Native Instruments and Tim Exile's - The Finger might be the closest. But it would seem that the midi controller would be more important than the VST. You could achieve the same effects using just native Ableton racks but its is the ability to manipulate them using a controller that would get the same result.

Haha, don't be so hard on yourself man!

It is cool that you at least had the basis for one kicking in M4L.

I'm betting that someone would be willing to finish it for you if you wanted.
