Colors to Plug-in Devices

Post by delacota » Mon Mar 14, 2011 3:32 pm

Hi

It's very basic stuff but
I would like to be able to put colors to Plug-in device.
It would be very useful for me.
Quick access to plug-ins which I always use.

I.E.
Red color = Good
Yellow = Normal
Blue = Bad

Thanks

Color is one of the few "minut" things that truly sets Ableton apart from other DAWs, but it could be so much better. More colors, and colors in progression pallets (from darker to lighter) would make for a tremendously faster workflow (and more intuitively beautiful sets) - Humans recognize color oganization faster than any other form - if Ableton pushes their color options further, they will own...everything. More color coded options please!

That's exactly I wanted to say.
I have a limitation to explain by English.
Thanks

In a way, I can save plug-ins which I like as saving to instrument rack or effect rack for easy access.
but It's not same.

I don't think difficult to change color of Plug-in Devices.(Sorry to the deveropers, might be not)
cause already we can change color of Audio,MIDI clips,tracks etc and be able to save it as well.

I will be very happy,if ableton feature it. :D

Thanks

this is exactly what I need, to be able to make green plug ins in my list my favourite fx then i just look for the green fx first .

You can do that in Mac folders and it makes so much sense

Great thanks.

I hope they implement it. It seems so obvious and easy to do.

I brought this up to ableton as well

it would sure be a easy enough thing to add and would make life easier in a cluttered vst plugin folder

Brilliant! I have asked them a few times via email, you would think they would listen, well I hope so. As you say it would make a cluttered folder much faster to grab what you want :-) Fingers crossed!
