Pluggo groupbuy

Post by Spacerboy » Fri Jun 03, 2005 7:42 am

Hi,

I am amazed of the Pluggo Jr bundle, really good effects. I also tried the full Pluggo and its just unbelievable.
Does anybody know if there is a way for a groupbuy, since the regular price is much too high for me?

cycling74 will not go for it.

on kvr a few months ago some people tried to get a max/msp group buy and had nearly 100 participants and cycling denied it with some lame excuse about their distribution deal, yet they do offer multiple license discounts (only if there is 1 buyer) and student discounts.

it kinda put me off about cycling.
they literally turned down like 8 or 18g's (I dont recall which) in one afternoon.
the pricing was based on their own volume discounts posted on their site (it is a sliding scale)

they do offer pretty hefty student discounts on most of their products though, if that applies.

seems to be true. but what if one of the abletons buys a 100+ licence and people would pay this person before? that would be a getaround!

only restriction, has to be a trustable person.

and i can´t find any student prices for pluggo or mode :-(

yeah I don't see any student pricing for pluggo, just max, msp and jitter.

I have pluggo - and I never use it - I just think the plugs are less than spectacular. The whole package is overpriced in my opinion - it should be cheap!
