So sorry to hear this. I hope he was at peace when he passed. I pray for his wife and family to find strength and acceptance. Death cannot take away the love you share...

Oh no. I just found out about Leeds passing and cried. A true gentleman. He will be missed.

I could always recognize his posts, they were the most reasonable and thoughtful. I usually read this forum on my phone so I can't see who the post is written by. As I scroll to the next post, I inch over a bit to see who wrote the last one. I could always tell it was Leeds' writing and would have a sense of satisfaction when my suspicion was confirmed, "had to be him cos that makes perfect sense".

Besides conducting himself with class and generosity, he was such a great resource because he combined the enthusiasm and creativity of a home recording Ableton fanboy and the experience and expertise of a seasoned, professional audio engineer. I'll be dedicating my performance on Jan. 7th to him.

My thoughts go out to his wife and all of his loved ones.
Goodbye Martin. Thanks for all the help. May you find peace.

Terrible news indeed. Leeds was one of the nicest most helpful guys on this forum.

Just saw this and couldn't wait to read all the responses before sharing my sentiments. This is indeed a shocker.

The forum will never be the same, at least for me. There are two lights of hope, Tarekith and of course the fact that I had the opportunity to pay him homage in a small way by expressing to him my sentiments on his knowledge and the way he went about sharing this.

Also, never knew that we share the same surname.

Leeds in your honor I promise to always be good and try to emulate you on these forums.

Bye, great warrior.

Why are the best ones always leaving the first, it look like a strange rule of life.

Rest in heaven

This is horribly sad.

Leeds was my favourit poster on this forum. Anytime there was a debate he would chime in and I would have a moment of clarity, his posts just made sense among the madness of this forum. I find myself skipping through most people’s posts but when I come across his, I ALWAYS read them.

Having just found out now, this is indeed a sad day.

Rest in Peace.
