Feedback requested :)

Post by capta1nA » Fri Nov 27, 2009 4:01 am

All of the tracks done in Live 6.0.10 on a last-gen PBG4, all built-in devices except one or two might have Automat by alphakanal. I'm considering most of these to be "demos" as I want to take these into a real studio and build/improve on them.

If you're looking for more nitty-gritty details, ask me or check out http://andydoonan.wordpress.com

Hope you enjoy but please post your thoughts and criticisms! I want to do at least one more EP by the end of the year.

I think each piece need a hell of a lot of working on if you're going to pay to re-record them.

I would say carry on learning your trade in Ableton first.

Thanks dude. That one needs some cleaning up towards the beginning. I'd love to try it in 5.1.

I agree. I'm still new at this. I was a bass player from 1999 until this year (mostly playing in rock bands, spent the last 4 years at Berklee as a performance major). I had mild tendonitis for a couple of years until this past spring when it became severe. I was in physical therapy & steroid treatment until june, and in the past month it bad again. Screw it! I can still do music and not gig.

Thanks dude. I was a little lazy about that guitar part but it seems to work!

That's fair. I need to do more melodic stuff.

I like them... Aphex Twin vibe for sure which will definitely turn some people off.

Blending this style w/ some melodies could be pretty cool.

Hello all. Uploaded a new track the other day (second link) and consolidated everything from last year. If you take the time to listen I hope you will leave some feedback.
