@Amberience did you read the review...? yeah I insulted him, [calculated to get a reply] it made me angry, I found the review an insult to myself as a consumer and as a designer... I found it biased and not worthy of the "neutral" standpoint a reviewer should have or show any understanding...

Forgot, if you want really a sturdy notebook, there is the "toughbook" range [don't know that much] with different versions, some models are used by the military in the field...

I got an old sony vaio notebook, the only reason was it had no stupid external buttons [to break off] and was made of sturdy plastic. Its a total brick, only portable between power sockets, but for the same price as a 1.3 ibook [at the time] I got the labtop, quattro external card and a copy of Trak...

My 2cents: I don't see playing out cells from Live as DJing but more as "Live Remixing" or "Live Rearanging" a song. IMHO both are an artform in it's own right. I agree but for me the lack of a controller is holding back Live in a performance environment. Imagine say a crossfade...
