but if the kick coming in is predictable... might as well draw in freq automation on the clip
although you can reach some very happy mistakes using the envelope follower...

use the m4l envelope follower device with a lpf'd version of your kick
have it control a hpf freq on the desired track... (push freq higher when sound is kick bass is coming in)
you can tune and adjust the response to your liking on the 'envelope follower'...

if you need the sound of the tracks to be 100% processed .. you'll want to use an insert fx (serial).. put the fx on individual tracks as it sounds best for you... and if you need to control them from one place use a mappable MIDI controller or an m4l patch... there are plenty "macro" styl...
