Have you enabled the midi output in the prefs?

Have tried out an old version of live (v4 since i couldn't find my 5 or 6 disks).

Everything worked fine.

Have emailed customer support, will update this when i've found a solution for future ref'.

Some more strange behavior..... Have noticed that any assignments made to the "mute" of the return channels causes a small glitch, the midi signal is received and the channel very temporarily un-mutes but then a split second later for no apparent reason mutes itself again. This made me try...

I've noticed when Live7 stops receiving midi that if I enter midi learn mode, every control sends a 1/255 message... live then crashes several seconds later.

I didn't think there was a 1/255 message?

was really looking forward to using v7, but as it stands at the moment its pretty useless!

You correct that it is pretty much impossible... what you would be asking live to do is predict what you wanted to happen, before it happened! But I'm thinking that you might be able to do what your after with some kind of a step sequencer... you could move notes earlier or later, as long as you mov...

Hi, just got my Mac Book Pro yesterday, and everything is going swimmingly, except I'm a tad confused about plug in formats... I guess I need to get Universal Binary versions of all my plugs, but ... Do I need VST or Audio Unit? Can I use a mixture of both? Are they installed in the same folder? And...

If you hold down control, click and drag a clip or selection of clips, it will duplicate them.
