I totally agree that Live 'sucks' in ReWire mode...
especially when one trys to use a large Live doc.
Usually Live will crash on load.
I sure wish they kept the focus as a live loop instrument then
the 'do all / crash all' it's become..

Well, somethings not quite right in the Mac code because when one runs in standalone mode it can take 50%+ cpu use but in ReWire mode (with LogicPro7) it's around 10%... (Sorry, number values are by memory...) Hmmmm, Live is still doing 'everything' except talking to coreaudio & the audio interf...

My short list here: + Tempo mapping the Arrange (or in Seesions) to a clip. Some 'musicians' do NOT like to quantize EVERY song to a constant tempo! (Maybe allow one to select a clip with beat markers and apply it to the Global tempo... basically reverse its function.) + Quicktime movie sync yet? + ...

Ever notice that when one uses Live in ReWire mode its CPU use goes from more then 50% (on a dual 2.5 G5!) to less then 10%????!!!!!! Live is still doing all its tricks except sending the audio out the i/o device. Obviously something is NOT optimized in Lives code... Unfortunately, Live is flakey in...

'We' really need a stable ReWire implementation.
Ideally one could open their LARGE Live docs in ReWire mode too...
(The large doc opens & works ok in Live non-ReWire mode.)
