Other thing about facebook; nobody NEEDS it to keep in touch with friends. People stayed in contact with old friends across geographic boundaries for hundreds of years; with letters. And for the last 10 decades or so with telephones. And now email too. I understand that facebook is a technological s...

I forbade my spouse (who does have one) from mentioning me by name. Have you switched over to the TALIBAN?? :x My words were too strong; excuse me. I made it perfectly clear to her (in a non-violent and non-threatening way) that I didn't want my real name on her facebook. I don't like that system.....

I think facebook is a fantastic tool. Yet I don't have a profile though, and forbade my spouse (who does have one) from mentioning me by name. One of the only problems with HUMINT is the input phase. Link analysis is a fairly methodical process, but if you have unreliable sources, it's tough. What b...

The only reason (and I do mean the ONLY reason) I didn buy a Virus TI was because of the USB 1.1 thing. If it had either firewire (over which audio and midi transfer was already common at that time, so it's no excuse) or USB 2.0, they could have had the DAW route multiple audio out from the synth's ...

Re: it's on the books..
I don't think violence fixes anything. Wrong. Violence does fix things, though admittedly only in limited circumstances. Decisive, overwhelming and annihilating violence fixes things quite handily. Japan and Germany were pacified when their society, infrastructure, and instutions were all destroyed...

Re: it's on the books..
Those attacks are justified. You've just lost me. Sorry, that's utter bullshit. Because if they think that "we" are the reason the middle east is fucked up (and I don't think we are considering how fucking backwards islamic society is, but let's go on a magical mystery tour into their lit...

given Guiliani's bravado about every f-ing sentence out of his mouth is 9/11 I don't think Bush has done enough to totally screw up the GOP. Guiliani is leading the GOP vote (or was, haven't checked today) under the guise of 9/11, Iraq, terrorism and the web of bullshit lies about Sadam being linke...

Re: it's on the books..
We have a very short time to educate ourselves out of the blind-alley thinking demonstrated by the likes of abotha5 and Breqs and the millions of ignorant, xenophobic troglodytes that make up the lumpen bulk of western "civilisation". Small town bigots like abotha5 will gradually get bred...

Re: it's on the books..
If the fight comes to America what now appears as bad laws will look like Sunday school readings compared to what will be implemented Whether you like it or not the way of life in America changed forever with 911. I also believe Canada will be changed in the future with a similar event. Sadly, I th...

Re: it's on the books..
What essential liberties have you given up? How has it affected you personally, and I mean this in the nicest of ways? As an activist and writer for my blog infopatriots.org, I am concerned that it is possible for the government to label me as a terrorist and ship me to a secret prison such as Guan...

Ask any survivors of any great western ideological advancement, and you might get a different opinion. I doubt the small amount of Native Americans here in the states would agree that the constitution helped them out. Technically, I could be considered a Metis. I don't bother though, I look mostly ...

Got started with Live on version 1. I would make a track in cubase 5 VST 32, using hardware and reason and VSTs. Then, I would perform by looping sections in Cubase and muting / unmuting group channels. A guy working at a music store saw one of my shows, and told me that this Ableton thing was what ...
