and the problem with resampling vs master 'post fx' which i was using, it's it's most master fader, so it's not the best option for what i am attempting, regardless of what i titled this topic.......

after a few frustrating hours of searching the forums and my own mind i have discovered that when using plugs that add delay, even with PDC on, using the "audio from' record option will always add the delay to the recording. which seems to make no sense to me. and i was getting rather worked up...
