I've tried to buy the hype on this guy and see what everyone loved but all i hear is cheese synths pads reused in every demo track I grew up with drum and bass and ambient stuff like seefeel, love dubstep, and still think music starts with basic channel, so from all the salivating and praise i figur...

alot of my friends thought i was crazy for buying a $550 interface that only came with drivers, and no recording software (ultralite), howver alot of those same friends have replaced thier m audio cards several times, while (knock on wood) my ultralite has held up great, without issue..... .. surel...

well i asked this same question to support and never heard back from customer care other than a auto response so i have just bit the bullet and bought the whole thing which is d/l as we speak..... really going to feel like a dick on christmas day when everyone has dollar store garbage under the tree...

mine did that once, i either turned it off and on again or did a factory reset, can't remember and it has never happened since....

what i really miss this time is the 'holy shit' factor of 3-6. I am sure someone in one of the many discussions of this board has said it, but when 3 came out with clip envelopes it was like a diamond bullet through my forehead, a totally out there concept executed extremely well. racks seemed to me...

i agree, I don't even think i will upgrade.......there is nothing interesting in this release for me. I have been a round one beta tester for the last couple versions and was always freaking out about the new improvements i had to have but there's nothing in here that means anything to me, 6 pretty ...

just pull the master fader down so it's not clipping is the easiest solution, theres loads of headroom prior to that

my roland re-501 space echo sits unplugged, but as much as i rationally know it's not needed, i cannot bring myself to part with it
