Not read the whole thread but maybe the Abes should stop moving in the DAW direction and concentrate on live performance capabilities instead.

There's a ruck of fairly minimal enhancements to Live that would help in that situation rather than some of the recent additions (like instruments etc).

I am wondering the same thing! On paper the Audiofire 4 looks perfect for my needs but I'm too scared to buy one after reading this thread! Can we get an update from owners of the Audiofire series? Also, I'm still a bit confused about whether the problem is isolated to MBP. Are any MacBook owners h...

the model number was 5720. Nice machine.
A macbook with that spec would probably be 1K.

Only drawback was pre installed Vista, IMO.

He'll need £700 (600 if you're in the edu sector).

The Zero4 looks way nicer. I've never really got along with how Pioneer mixer sound though. I've not played with a Zero4 either.

Does he have to be an 'equal' producer before he can have an opinion?

We're all entitled to one.

Daft Punk underground? Maybe when they had that Soma release out but after that it's all major labels and pop charts.

That Kanye track is ok for a pop song. The original DP track wasn't any good anyway and benefitted form the slowing down treatment.

I drop clips in as the mood takes me, and I delete them when I am finished. I never ever use more than 2 or 3 rows, and I never, ever, play the same set twice...

Chill out man, you're just an innocent bystander listening in on this part of the discussion. The comment was directed at wavejumper. You didn't understand spawn's comment to wavejumper about "why let go of chicago house" so I tried to explain to you. The last sentence of my quote w...

I think he means to expand your mind a bit and don't have such a narrow mind to reject everything that isn't chicago house. Don't be such a purist firmly anchored in a 5 year window of the past, and be open to other things that have happened or evolved since then. So nobody who is making house righ...
