I really dig podcasts and dj mixed cds when I work out and more ambient type stuff for study.

Good ones to keep me pumping are things like.

History of the Breaks by Jonathon Wall or some older DJ Icey.

There are tons of really good podasts out there too.

The stuff you don't need to see, you don't, the stuff that you do need to access a lot is easy to get to. As much as I enjoy my mac I would have to say this is one of my biggest beefs with Apple. Having kids pushed everything else to the back burner for me for many years. I don't regret it but I had to become OK with that. Now they are older and I have more time but I ran on 4-5 hours of sleep for the first several years just so I could get some time in with my art.
