A 1 ghz 1 giga ram titanium. osx 10.38 no plug ins...just 2 audio loops and two midi loops... Result in a system too slow to have fun working with...at least regarding midi operations on a running sequencer or arrangement functions... changing of the startmarker of a midiclip between 2 and 5 second...

while alex may have sourced the route of your problem with the above post, the g3 iBook's are running out of steam thesedaysd...especially on Live4. I have a g3 iBook as well and its not much use for office stuff let alone high end audio....
