Re: Upgrade from XP to Windows_7 ?
i'd be concerned about the nord g1 given they just discontinued it - from what i gather they tend to drop support pretty quickly! maybe it'll run under emulation though?

Re: MicroKorg arpeggiator midi sync issue!
what hardware are you using to send the clock to the korg? a cheap midi interface could be just as much of a problem as live or the korg here.

FS: As new Elektron Monomachine Mk1
I've got an as new Elektron Monomachine Mk1 that i unfortunately have to part ways with, so thought i'd post it here before it goes on evilbay. It's one owner (bought Aug 04) and been updated to latest firmware. She comes with the original power supply (Australian 240V), bound owners manual and pack...

Re: Who’s not having trouble using a laptop?
I’ll be using an NI Audio Kontrol 1 which is having big problems on my existing laptop (crackles every few seconds) which I’m told exist because my current laptop has DPC latency spikes caused by the graphics card. i'm guessing you've used this to check that out? Re: LFO vst/au
get usine free, plogue bidule (beta) or reaktor (if ya got it) and roll your own. it's a pretty easy thing to set up by yourself, and you can go much more nuts than being just stuck with whatever the maker of the vst decided they wanted... there is a vst that operates simply as an lfo, but i can't r...

Re: Novation bass station
i love mine - kind of because it is super simple... i got the keyboard one so less memory slots but the whole instant gratification thing is worth it in my opinion.
i've also got a nord micro modular that's very cool (bit like having reaktor in a vhs case), but the BassStation seems fatter to me.

Re: Setting Live's "priority" in Windows XP
in the old single core days it was a bad idea as it could choke out other threads, these days i don't know... i doubt it makes a lot of difference on a modern multi core machine, and if it's causing SIR to crash live it's definitely a bad idea!
