no matter if 96kHz or anything else or any latency is dialed:
little spikies and dropouts here and then. No good.

Strange thread. Besides those generalisations I always hate when it comes to discussion this is no discussion in any way. And I don´t feel the need for me to raise the level of this one here. Naa, you can get some wicked sounds out of it, true,
but there is definetly no single tool to make you sound like anyone.
It is a lot of microediting and - believe it or not - hard work.

Yep. I guess it is 30% talent and 70% damn hard work.
They work hard on their grooves and know their stuff.

One thing I know is that they use granular synthesis to create some
of their sounds. But the rest is - hard work.

I can´t get a single tone out of my rig without glitches using Vista, RME
and ASIO drivers. As I don´t need 8 Gigs of RAM right now
I decided to switch back to XP. Until Live itself is a 64bit app..

OK, I did some further testing. I installed my energyxt2 license as a standalone app, though I usually use ext2 just as a vst. What can I say? So I am not the only one.

I agree that live´s code should not be changed and
work around that little prob now.

To be more precise: notes play on if they end exactly at the clip-
or loopend. If I shorten them a bit, the bug does not occur.

Hi,

B4II is just unsuable for me, because the midi timings
are just not correct. Notes are hanging, playing on.
I don´t use it live, just controlling with clips.

Anyone?
