you can actually have knob *acceleration* so the range of the knob is controlled by the speed at which it is turned.. Basically it requires a tiny bit of hex editing in the form of search and replace, but it definitely works, and it's quite easy. Sounds cool. Could you please explain how to? x/grfld

also, i've heard the knobs on the bcr can be set to act very quick, as in: turning a knob real fast and do a complete sweep/fader jump in a quarter turn... Yes, if you assign a control-element within live, you can choose the range between the midi-values should work. This allows you to make changes...

the BCF2000 with mackie control, IMO, is the best midi controller / control surface you can get. especially for its price. If you add an TranzPort from Frontier Design and use Behringers BCFView or huskervu you'll get nearly the same functionality like a Mackie Control (with all knobs, faders, larg...

My wish: advanced windowhandling (screenshot inside)
I would like to see the windowing like Acid Pro. By default, everything is arranged like Live: upper part of the screen shows the tracklane, lower part is reserved for the dock where every optional windows are displayed. If you want to, you can grap a docked window and pull it outside: it is now a s...

There's a small workaround, but not a real solution: remapping or complete disabling of the key!
Use a tool like "remapkey" and reassign the keys as needed. This remapping is global to Windows, so be patient.
