Quad-frohmage 1.2 au does not work
The updated version of quad-frohmage (that can now process audio in stereo) doesn't work in Live. It does not recieve any audio and sound is just passed to the output without any signs of audio going in our out of the plug. The vst version 1.2 works fine. I've contacted ohmforce about it, but haven'...

polyslax, since Live only uses on processor on dual machines, there is a lot of untapped power in the G5. I can run Live at the same time as Im compressing video, burning dvd's etc. That power could be used by numerology. If you drive a vst/au in Live via midi from numerology, you have less power av...

(1) since you use a dual g5, you can get some extra power for Live by using Numerology as a sound module. Playing for example a reaktor ensemble in numerology and routing it into live via soundflower. (2) using numerology to generate cc messages for automation in live, either for clips of for contro...

Some keyboards have to have drives installed even if it is XP or Mac osx. Check if your midi-keyboard is enabled as midi-in in Lives preferences, then enable it in the midi-remote settings. Then hit the midi button on the top right on the session or arrange view. It's all in the manual, be sure to r...

Some users get crackling sound with numerology and live. If you get that, wait for the updated Jack or use Soundflower from cycling74 instead. Or better, route Numerology from an external loop (if your soundcard can handle the latancy). At this moment I run 6 softsynths in Numerology routed through ...

Get almost twice the cpu power from Live4 on a G5 osx
After being frustrated with lives lack of G5 optimization, i could not run more than two instances of reaktors bluematrix. I discovered that I could run a couple of reaktors in numerology at the same time, in practice like having two singel processor G5's at the same time in the same machine. I figu...

Frank Hoffman writes that Live doesn't use two processors (yet). That explains why I can get approximately double the performance in Logic compared to live. 6 or 7 instances of Reaktors Blue Matrixes compared to 3 in Live. Makes me think that I might try to run reaktor standalone and route the audio...

I wonder the same: I like to improvise using a midi-controller. Which could result in a arrangement automation using lots of different parameters. To make this into a clip, it seems I have to copy every automation envolope and paste it into a session clip envelope. Consolidation doesn't work here. S...

(1) load vokator into an track A, set audio input to none (2) load audio in tracks B and C, set audio output to track A on both, pan B hard left and C hard right (3) Set the vokator track monitor to on, or enable recording. This works for me on mac osx with both the AU and the VST FX, and with vokat...
