i dont actually want to render the set there and then to disc because that will have to computer doing too much? Will resampling eat up my comptuer power? i just want the automation recorded then when i get home i can render the set to an audio file using rewire into cubase.

hey im going my first live set with 5 this friday.

How do i record my set? i.e all the changes i make etc etc so i can play it back at a later date into cubase and then put on the web?

no thats not it...im actually playing live like an instrument bringing in loops and stuff so cant do what u suggested...thanks for trying though.. im having to put all the tracks in one set at the mo...its gonna be a beast of a set with loads of loops! might just have a mini disc and play some noise...

Hey im trying to put my track into live, the loops are a melody that fits into 7/4 in cubase but it ableton doesnt seem to find a setting where it fits... the whole melody (which i want in a loop) is one bar of 4/4 two bars of 3/4 and then one bar of 4/4 anyone worked with different time signatures?

ok ill make it clearer.. shall i insert 4 songs/tunes into one set? and then change the tempo inbetween tracks? or shall i have each song on a different set with some mini disc ambience while im changing songs? if i've got 4 songs in one set then im going to run out of trigger buttons on my trigger ...

no not DJ stlye..my own tracks (5 tracks) made out of loops that im jamming. but i wondered how i might switch between or mix my own tunes...especially when there tempo changes. any ideas?

ok i got to graps with putting my track together..how do i seemlessly change between tracks (temp changes 2) do i put them all into one set?

all tracks created in cubase SX3, whats the best way to get everything into live? export seperate loops or use Rewire...

im a complete ableton virgin so all tips would be great!
