Arrangement: Show currently playing clip on track

In arrangement view, it would be great if the clip view could automatically update to show whatever the currently playing clip is on a track. This would mean that clips get automatically selected as they are playing, which would save a lot of mouse clicking when trying to edit warp markers. If this ...

I agree that it would be useful to have them all in one preset. In the meantime it works pretty well (for me anyway) if you don't mind switching templates on the SL. I just use the +/- buttons to skip between 38 and 40. The lag is there moving from automap to the Live template but I think that is mo...

Aluminium Imac and Echo Audiofire 4?

Hi all just wondering if anyone has any positive experiences with this combination. There are some older posts that talk about problems but nothing recent. I understand that echo have recently updated the firmware for the cards so am wondering if this has made a difference. Also any opinions on whet...

Do you have a microsoft keyboard? Is there a key that says 'F-lock'?

press it and then F11 will work as it should.

By default some microsoft keyboards assign different commands to the function keys. This is really annoying when you use programs like Live or Photoshop....

Guitar Rig at least has a system of midi assignment inside the plugin. I am pretty surprised that with all the time it took for AT2 to come out, that they still didnt include any midi assignment capability.

I am having trouble understanding how any of these suggestions will work. Live cannot access more than 128 parameters. There are only 128 cc numbers. What other type of number could you convert to through any of these methods that live will accept and pass on to the plugin to make the parameter work...

Hi mocker

there doesnt seem to be a way. Live only recognises the first 128 parameters in a plugin. Amplitube 2 has waay more than 128 so no go.

glitchrock, can you describe the experience you having with the new OS? Is it different to this? : selecting a plugin (eg Imposcar) only opens up the left side of the remote to edit the plugs. It doesnt actually open up the Imposcar template. I have the input and output set to Remote SL MIDI (2) I a...

Its still not right drawing notes on the grid or drawing in clip envelopes in draw mode works great but anything that requires dragging is wildly inaccurate and usually moves the gui object to its extreme - volume goes to maximum or minimum only. You can get values in between but its very very sensi...

I am getting this problem constantly with a mix I am doing for my band at the moment. We have a session of 12 multitracks that is about 72 minutes long at 24 bit (so obviously loading into RAM is not an option here). Anytime I want to zoom in to do some close up alignment I have to wait until the pr...

Session clips and arrange clips are separate. You need to trigger the clip in the session view to get it to play. Click on the the triangular clip launch button that is next to the name of the clip in the session grid. You can only ever have one session clip, or one arrange clip playing on any track...
