Re: Multi-Key Mapping
I believe that bome translates keys to other keys/key combinations as well. Check it out ! Cheers, amo Cheers mate, bome do have a prgoram which does this, so you can trigger multiple samples from one key press (almost like scene launch) What I need is Live to be able to understand a key press of C...

Re: Multi-Key Mapping
I was looking at Bome midi translator on a link from another post. Looks like you can use it to program multiple key commands from one midi key. Dunno if that's what you want but give it a try... :) Good call, this program looks like it could be very useful to lots of people, including myself I am ...

I'm just not sure how many DJs work at Ableton I don't think that this is the problem necessarily, I think the guys at Ableton do have the sense of a DJ. However, I think that the way that people approach DJing in Live is the reason that Ableton added this in. Take Tarekith: I use the speaker clip ...

lots of DJs asked for a nudge feature I'm just not sure how many DJs work at Ableton. If I use nudge I have to set global quantise to 16ths and make sure that in the prefs Launch : clip quantisation is set to 1 bar rather than Global otherwise I am doomed! Linking nudge to global quantisation came ...

Re: MIDI Mapping too...
Adding this function to MIDI Mapping too would make my life better. Multiple Aux control from one exernal fader / pot etc etc... This should be so simple to do. Everyone knows Reason can do it with a little utility called the Spider. Split The MIDI message and send it to multiple sources. Select th...

Ive began using it but its not as good as the old method of dragging the play head bar. Im sure the new method was introduced for a good reason I just havent been able to work out what the reason is yet  Happy hunting, I think I'm fairly intuitive with software now and always have been with L...

Give Nudge the Elbow - and a Push
I've been using Live for 2 years now and never have I experienced the problems I have with Quantisation since upgrading to L5 It's now turned to sh*t When I'm triggering samples they start playing on the wrong beats - Global Q is set to 1 bar, as always, and the Clip Q is set to 1 bar, as always so ...

Multi-Key Mapping
Hi everyone I bought a producer panel from www.neanda.com last year which has 128 keys with software to map any key functions on (eg with one key press I can make the computer think that I'm pressing 5 at the same time) Great for Cubase, every function can be mapped and no more CTRL-Z or CTRL-SHIFT-...
