yeah kinda, but it's not gonna work like i heard it (and like i want it to work). he could get a particular part of the sample (a recognisable syllable) and scrub back and forth over it, like he was controlling the direction of play - setting up 2 samples wouldn't be able to do that... there must be...

yeah i been wondering about this too. i know you can play a sample over a key range by midi mapping it, but i want those ace noises you get when you transpose up to like +36,+48 - sounds great when you waggle the transpose about up there, would be great if i could control it with a knob...
