dunno.. im quite a fan of Analogue i use it as a cutting squelchy lead bass and often get asked if that's my moog Fair enough. I've heard some cool sounds come out of it. But don't you think so many other analog emulations can do the same? I would be inclined to attribute the sounds you get out of ...

operator. good for not just synth sounds but also used as an individual drum synth for a pad. Much better for drum synthesis than loding up a bunch of vsts in drum cells. Pretty much the only reason I've kept the suite now is to use sampler/operator for one-shot percussive sounds or fx with drum rac...

Right on, man. That's what I wanted to hear.

Would you suggest the roland FC-300 over other options like the behringer FCB1010?

thanks

using midi foot controllers with guitar amp sims?

Hey, Is anyone using a midi foot controller such as the roland FC-300 to control an amp sim like guitar rig or amplitube? I've got guitar rig 3 so would ideally like to use that with a foot controller, but I've also got amplitube live and x-gear. Can anyone tell me if it works ok? I don't want to ge...

May I ask why not upgrade your komplete 2 to komplete 5? I guess that may be a little more than 200 dollars, but only a bit more. That would be my ultimate advice. You'd get not only the absynth 4, fm8 and reaktor 5 upgrades, but also battery 3, kontakt 3 and a few other goodies. If that's not an op...

I saw one of these in a store for the first time the other day and I was really surprises by how good the endless rotaries felt. The were not dented, just smooth. But the speed dial was dented, just like the remote SL rotaries. I thought that was strange, I wonder what the reason is. How I wish the ...

just to clear it why i enjoy Tone2's policy: They DO have a 20€ license transfer fee, but i think thats fair enough. 20€ is not much more than a large pizza, and i like to support developers. Also because they do it manually and have to deal with shareit etcettera. I have to respectfully disagree w...

My only exchange with him was that about 4 years ago, I asked him to put a swing feature in Vanguard's then hailed tarnce-gate. He curtly stated, "No, this is not an important feature." Good thing the guys at Access (and most other synths) listened to such forward thinking ideology...afte...

I have to respectfully disagree with you endorsment of tone2 as a model company. They aren't as bad as reFX, but the developer can be very defensive and rude at times as well. I'm sure they can very helpful and are probably nice guys, but I had my only bad experience of my life when I was trying ou...

There's no doubt that developers have every right to set the terms of the agreement, but the fact is that there's a lot of choice out there and there are so many kind, helpful developers that treat you with respect, such as U-He, that are far more deserving of our cash. And there are just so many de...

^^ Yeah. The only thing about it is that it's latency is pretty high, so not great for a live effect. Same with trash. I'm thinking of checking out audio damage's kombinat. Looks pretty similar to ohmicide.

Artillery 2! Covers pretty much everything.

After that, it's all about personal flavour of sound destruction (overdrive, compression mainly) - for me ohmicide, trash, stuff like that. oh,and a good reverb.

If I could have just one effect plug-in, it would be artillery 2 for sure. Great for glitchy effects but also great for regular bread 'n butter effects like compression and modulation. I also splurged and bought effectrix and quite like it. Similar but different. The great thing about both that is r...
