Presonus got back telling me the noise happens on some Ibooks (as I enquired about those specifically) , but no make/model specified ...

The noise should be adressable by not bus-powering and/or using balanced cables to the monitors ...

Mmm, how about FrontRow+ Apple Remote for all Mac's ... would make the Mac Mini the perfect home media center ... I'd be in for one ... and a perfect way of leveraging older but still very efficient technology to consumermarket ... would also completely fit in with the Itunes offering of video dowlo...

All in all I am pretty happy with it so far although i am getting a funny high pitched noise i only notice when there is no music playing ? I had a Firebox and returned it for that very reason... it's to do with the FW port in certain Apple models. I figured it would be pretty unnerving in the long...

Think that Machinate meant that Max/msp is more grassroots than Reaktor ... where you have more pre-assembled pieces where in max/msp it's almost like programming in Assembly 8)
