Geraldo: Correct me if I'm wrong, but you can't use one midi hardware in to control both Live and rewired Reason simulataneously, can you? If so, call me an idiot, cause I know I tried, and found midi ox to be the solution. If this is true, the same applies to FL rewired to live--I'm pretty sure it...

When the snap to grid button is lit the feature is off, and when the button is dark the snap to grid feature is on??? Am I the only person who finds this counter-intuitive? I guess it indicates snap to grid is the default setting and green means it is changed?

That's great but your comparing stuff that we can't reproduce. We have a baseline on this forum using the original demo arrangement from version 1.0. Please load it and tell us what your CPU says at bar 49. I think people might find that more informative. Thanks for being the lab-rat, I am waiting t...

I think Live is great as a DAW. I know it was originally concepted ( is that a word?) as a live performance instrument, but quickly people realized you could track, mix and compose with it. I have to do things differently than I would in Cubase or Logic but that is fine because I have grown to prefe...

Live is all about audio. The point is to get away from VSTi's and think differently about sound creation. If Ableton supports VSTi's I think that would mean creating a midi sequencer/editor module just so you could sound like every other freak'n electronica clone out there. I don't know any musician...

Live was designed to compliment existing software that already does VSTi. That's why Live uses Rewire. You can Rewire Live to Cubase ( if you must ). I personally find Reason does everything I need. The better I get at programming Reason, the less I am interested in VSTi's. Except for Absynth... But...

PC render to disk problem
Hi all, I usually work on my Mac so I have not worked with 2.03 on PeeCee yet. Everything works fine except when I try to render to disk the file is corrupt, according to Windows media player 9. I know how to render to disk I've done it a billion times on both machines but not yet with 2.03 on the P...
