Can you remove a section of audio without cropping?

Effectively I'm wondering if it's possible to do a re-edit of a track once it's been warped? At the moment it seems the only w...

is there a control for selecting an active clip on a track?
Here's the deal. You have one track playing, you initiate a loop in real time. You start another track, making it the active clip. How do you select the first clip so you can turn off the loop. monitoring / cueing, how do you do it?
assuming you've got a sound card with more than two outs how do you set up a monitor feed? I'm guessing you would put an aux out on each track and then set the on/off & level to your button/knob of choice? you'd need a way to select a track and listen to it without your audience hearing it. I'm ...

Got a worm reformatted opened up my set and things are amiss
Let me start by saying, I'm very new to live. So far I've just wrapped my head around using the warp markers and using a midi controller, so I 'can' actually play a set. I got the win32 parite.
