Re: kilohearts disperser - phase shifting PlugIn
None that I know of. But then again, it isn't exactly clear from the samples or the description what this plugin actually does.

"¿por que no los dos?" indeed.
Synthesized low end mixed with acoustic sampled crunchy mid/top is great.

Re: Crazy scaler idea
The danger with max for live is that you can waste a lot of time reinventing tools that Live already gave you. and the danger with forums is that it can be difficult to convey what one wants to achieve. I think OP wants to simply squash down a scale so that playing across the keyboard has no repeat...

Re: catanya-like pattern based polyphonic arpeggiator
you don't need a "chord splitter" - in midi, chords don't really... exist, anyway - it's serial data, right? :) The core of an arpeggiator is relatively simple in max, it was practically built for that type of thing. The biggest programming challenge in this would be the UI, I guess - hand...

Re: MFL 32bit packs in 64bit?
...unless the pack uses 32-bit externals. Honestly, most don't, but many do. I think the most commonly seen externals are the bonk~, pitch~, sigmund~, etc things, but also OSC objects, [wacom] and others.jimmyjrg wrote:and yeah 32bit max packs do install and work on 64 bit Live 9 with 64bit M4L.

Re: Ableton Push: Questions & Answers
Just to be clear, I’ve never used the external I mentioned, I’ve just heard of it and it sounds like it does the job. It’s OS X-only though. For Windows users, a relatively simple Java-based external would suffice. There’s some discussion about that here . Note, however, I don’t find the author’s n...

I only have about 1.5 hours of testing on it, but I didn't hear a single bit of hum. This was with an external audio interface.Stoodio wrote:Could be my Dell laptop soundcard, but I am thinking that others will report this as well

Re: Ableton Push: Questions & Answers
good stuff - I do have access to a Push, so for testing would python hackage be needed, or just the employment of that external (thanks for that, btw!)

Re: Ableton Push: Questions & Answers
It actually is the USP that I'm looking for in this product, and it's such a shame that I have no idea if it's even available in MFL.
The absurdity of it being filtered at all really was hard to swallow, too.

Re: Ableton Push: Questions & Answers
Hi Jesse et al. Okay, my question may have been answered in the 27 previous pages, if it has I'm terribly sorry. My understanding is that our ability to interact with Push via mfl is still TBD, and that a roadmap/programming guide is under way? My main request is low-level access to the pads. These ...

Re: Max for live device idea
Is it even possible to midi map Ableton parameters to a variety of different midi controllers as opposed to just a bunch of launchpads? ...absolutely. A cursory google will show you a vast variety of different controller setups for Live. What are you looking to do that is different from Kapture? Mi...

Re: Change multiple midi outputs at once?
well then I think the solution should be rather easy:
Instead of routing to IAC or whatever, send all these tracks to a new empty midi track, set to monitor on and inputs turned off.
And then switch the output as needed.

what does the max window say when you do this?toscanini wrote:inside I create an [in 1] object which will appear without an output and with a color darker than normal. That's it. Is this normal?
[hi.in] is not the same name as [in] so it's likely you're breaking other things by removing it.
