You can randomize the whole thing... http://www.ableton.com/forum/viewtopic. ... +generator

(you can use less devices if you want too, it's a bit of a redundant rack there)

The whole Ableton crew is working very hard to free Mr. Henke from the video dimension he got stuck in... http://www.ableton.com/_common/download ... repeat.mov

They found all of his entire body yet, expect for the head which keeps spinning in there.

Arpegiator rate randomizer

It would be nice if the arpegiator rate could be randomized. Perhaps by specifying a range for it.

This would allow random composition (in combination with the random effect and the velocity effect).

It would also be possible to add some groove, different then the current groove setting.

It's like supatrigga but with a non-fixed grid and without the reverse. - Use INS mode. This way when our break is ...

Re: cueing

if live six could include more dj like cueing, like the ablilty to pitch records manually as if playing with vinyl, so the warp marker thing would not have to be done , people might stop calling ableton live "cheating", it would take less time to get a live set going, not having to worry ...

Maybe you can use some virtual audio cable (like http://www.ntonyx.com/vac.htm).

You send audiomulch output in this cable...
... You get the audio in Ableton.

You can then use Audiomulch in Ableton as an external In.

I have used Live 4 only for 1 month or so, so I'm not an expert. Live 4 seemed lighter, indeed. But the new effects make Live 5 so much better. SATURATOR!!!, Beat repeat, Auto-pan, Arpeggiator, ... Also Freezing, how basic it may be right now. Ableton Live 5 is fun! BTW. You can check out all of the...

You can assign midi note ranges to a clip. Look at page 319 of the manual... Send a MIDI message by pressing a keyboard key, turning a knob, etc., on your MIDI controller. To assign a Session slot to a MIDI note range for chromatic playing, rst play the root key (this is the key that will play the c...

What measure will you use to define the difference between original sinewave and human generated one?

What are restrictions for use of filters, microphones, etc?

Yep, it's a solution. But there's a catch. I posted this on a response on the plogue forum too. David from plogue answered there was some catch involved. Interested people can read his answer at http://www.plogue.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=1520
