To send sysex patches to the Micron, you need something like Sysex Librarian (mac) or Elektron's C6 utility (mac/pc).

What I'd like to be able to do is RECEIVE sysex from the Micron into the MicronAU. that would be nice. Anyone?

Is the software good enough to keep me from lusting after the original hardware? I'll likely never be able to justify spending that much on an MS-20, and if you're doing the M1le upgrade, it seems like a no-brainer.

Everything I'm reading tells me it most definitely is not standalone. That "fusion" seems like an unbreakable bond between "legendary MPC layout" and "the power of your computer". I'm also assuming it doesn't host vsts.

If you look on that same page, it does make mention of two other products. One being an iPad app, and the other is presumably Maschine Mikro: Akai Edition. We'll have to wait a few hundred hours for the next video.

So I happen to have in my possession two field recorders. A Zoom H1 and an M-Audio Microtrack II. I don't need two field recorders, but I'm having a hard time deciding which one to keep. They both have their pros and cons, so I'm curious what your opinions are.
