darcyb does not condone the application of stickers to kitties for obvious animal well being reasons

The kitty would be very disappointed after it fell off from sheded hair, and would be most distressed. :) Better to put the sticker on a food dish!

You can make your arrangement show up in session view by highliting all clips, and dragging them to the session view switching icon on the right. They'll get in there great, and you can have fun jamming new mixes.

Wth Follow Actions in session view, some interesting algorithmic music can be made. When I want some gentle breeze of sound in the background and don't want the tedium of having to copy/paste clips in arrangment view. i'll create randomized clips in session view and record them playing back. No two ...

Got my Live5 box yesterday (beautiful design in itself, wonderful packaging), and within the user manual was a nice page of stickers. Yeah!

I regret that the link doesn't work for me. I click on it and the host site gives the error, "File Transfer: Incorrect link".

Beautiful. This is all very encouraging. If you don't get to host the files anywhere, you're welcome to email it to me at sillyrolandproblem@mac.com

Thanks!

Thanks Pilgrim! I would LOVE to be able to see what MIDI messages are being sent/received. It was one of my favorite features of an old Amiga sequencer called Bars & Pipes. Maybe MIDIOX will fill the gap! I'm also tempted to export the clip as a midi clip, load it in Logic and poke around in the...

leisuremuffin, good points. If my laptop wasn't 900MHz, I'd probably get more into softsynths. But for now, my Roland XP-60 along with sound loops are the only sound sources I got. I think I'll just get in the habit of recording MIDI, doing what I need to do to modify it and make the tone generator ...

Gigatron, I agree it has some maturing to do. Live is indeed a fun and powerful toy. I'm having such an amazing creative time with it doing audio. I don't mind waiting a bit. I have Logic Express to fill the gap for a while. :) The way it lets me instantly map MIDI control nobs/sliders on my synth t...

Well, if I could get Live to bank select, I'd actually be crazy enough to create the 635 Live Clips I'd have to create to get draggable items setup for my synth.

But then you'd better all download it and save yourselves the carpel tunnel hehe.
