i've been using the multiband comp on my main buss for my last few live sets, and with a proper sound check to dial it in that thing is a mother fucking weapon (especially for low end) that i'm in love with. i'd still use it without a check, but not as heavy handed... tended toward faster attack and...

they sounded pretty close actually, they do have a keyboardist etc. however, they sound more like smashing pumpkins siamese dream era than anything shoegaze to me (especially that dudes annoying voice)... been listening to a bit of lush and mbv lately, i'll be mixing an act at all tomorrows parties ...

you removed the screws, did you remove the knobs? that slider comes off easily for me, without breaking the mechanism. yup, all knobs, screws, nuts, allen screws... nothing left. the sliders and knobs come off no problem. with everything off, i mean everything, the thing would just not come apart. ...

well, i modified my apc 40 last night.... my master fader popped out! thought that maybe i could pop it back in, but i unscrewed every screw, allen screw, took every nut off, and the thing will not come apart. so, here i sit, looking at my apc40, thinking about how cheap the faders are. caution folk...
