Hey Fellow Forum-members. I would like you to try out my free live pack called 'Are You Prepared' on my new site http://areyouprepared.dk/ The core of my bachelor project in my electronic music studies is making The Prepared Piano(invented by John Cage) availiable for the world. I'm socializing it w...

License question - pls help

Hi All, I am about to have my computer repaired. It will take a few weeks before I will get it back. A few weeks without Ableton Live. :( :( :( Or..... Can I install Live on another computer while my own is being repaired and temporarily move my license to that computer? If yes, how? Cheers, Andreas

I just don't want anyone to say that they made the stuff I've made(steal them and take the credit) Is that egoistic? Its not egotistic, it might be a little paranoid, it definitely wont be stopped by a creative commons license. :P :P I highly doubt, anybody in the Live community, is going to rip-of...

You need to create a Live Pack, of the instrument. Instructions are in the PDF manual. As far as creative commons crediting goes, is that not a little extreme? Do you hear sound designers getting album or web or any sort of credit each time a preset is used? I think that is a little extreme. If you...

On Sampler, Simpler and Creative Commons

Hey All, I would like to know 2 things: 1. I have made a sampler/simpler multisample instrument. What is the best way to export it so I can send it to people via the internet? 2. I would like to make my instrument availiable for everybody but at the same time licence the samples via Creative Commons...

you could use only the sustained samples, and map the pedal to the envelope release time. that would be the easiest way. but if you're set on doing it the way you said, set up the samples in the 'sample select' editor and map the pedal to the 'sample select' ruler to switch between the sustained an...

Hrm. Good question. On the MIDI tab in sampler there is a way to map "Foot Ctrl" to a destination. Hrm... Thx for the reply, but I'm afraid it doesn't solve my problem.. For the ideal result, holding the foot pedal should change all the samples of all the keys so that the sustained sample...
