Composite Station is probably the best live VJ software there is. When Live came out...I was like wow...this is like Composite Station for Audio. Here is a little page about it at audiovisualizers.com...as well as the trial download. http://www.audiovisualizers.com/toolshak/vjprgpix/compstn/compstn....

DVD Audio Ripper is a good program to use to actually 'rip' the audio straight off a DVD to WAV rather than recording from outside source.

I love this track!!! A few more tweaks and little more fine tuning and you should have yourself a winner. I wouldnt call it specifically 'techno' like some others mentioned. I think it leans closer to the electro side of the spectrum. But overall this is definitely danceable. People can just sometim...

Cool! Hope it works out for you. I havent tried it myself in the same situation as you are....but in theory it should work. But also some of the other suggestions I would think would work out as well like sending the audio from your mic track set to output 1-2 to a return track set to output 3-4. Ju...

Ogg.. Ogg... Ogg.. Ogg.. Say it WITH ME! Ogg.. Ogg.. Ogg.. Ogg.. :) I agree. If they are going to add support for a compressed audio format it should definetly be Ogg-Vorbis over Mp3. 3 reasons. 1 : open-source (ableton would have to pay Fraunhoffer a percentage for using the mp3 standard) 2 : high...

Set your mic channel to 1-2, and your master cue out channel to 3-4. Then go back to your mic channel and click the the cue/headphone icon. Your mic channel will then be sent through channels 1-2 and 3-4. Just be sure to adjust your cue level apporpiately balanced. Its not perfect....but its a simpl...
