Thanks, Guys - you've been very helpful. I've heard of people using lighter fluid for cleaning vinyl (!) Does anyone know if this is a good idea? I'm ripping my vinyl using Cooledit. I've not used it much before but I know there are lots of tools in there for sorting out clicks/pops/crackle from recordings. I'm just looking for advice on how to go about it.
