live 4 loop startpoint
Wondering if live 4 will allow to put the startpoint of a loop before the actual looping section? I couldn't find any info on that?

I recently bought a Redsound Voyager Beat Xtractor. Works very well for me (and there small)... There not made anymore so search for second hand. Support at Redsound is fine... Check it out at: www.redsound.com/djindex.htm Useful review at: http://www.dooyoo.co.uk/music/dj_equipment/redsound_voyager...

Why not assign a MIDI control knob to the tempo, and adjust like an old-school turntable DJ would, by making subtle shifts in tempo to get back in the groove? Tried this but it is too sensitive (not accurate enough, very subtle tweaking of controller makes the tempo jump in increments larger than 1...

Alternatives to Redsound's beat extractors ?
Recently read a post in this forum about Redsound's beat extractors (Micro sync & Voyager). Went to their website only to find out that they no longer make them, although apparantly they were very good. Does anyone know of any (good) alternatives or maybe a shop on the European continent that st...

Thnx for the reactions guys, they certainly shed some light on my problem. I'm guessing for now that I'll stick with the MOTU. Didn't know about the 'cuemix'. I'm going to check that out.. BTW LY Recently though I have gotten an error #100010 (something like that) in Logic that says buffer underrun,...

Firewire 410 or 828 MkII ?
Hi all, A bandmember lost our trusted 2 year old MOTU 828 audio-interface, so we need a replacement. We absolutely want a firewire audio-interface because it allows us to easily share it among the different computers we have (2 G4's on different locations and a Tibook for playing live). We were firs...

I was thinking that a 'key-mode' would be nice to add. key-mode should trigger the clip for playing when pressing a key on the keyboard and as long as you play legato the loop will keep on paying an can be repitched play playing other notes. when you move your hand from the keyboard the loop stops ...
