I'm still considering that FW HD, a LaCie one, but I've read that there are a few issues with M-AUDIO's FW410 audio-interface, as they both goes thru FW, a king of priority conflict, well, I'm not sure... but I' do not want to spend 250 euros and not be able to use the HD and AudioInterface togethe...

I suppose Ableton are going by the assumption that every user has different controller types to use with Live. Its easy enough to assign keys and buttons to solo buttons, but having to do it with every track every time you start a new one. Pain in the ass! but can't you just do that in your t...

Ok...sure you've all worked this out for yourselves but here goes all the same. In the absence of solo channel grouping, only workaround at the moment is : Make sure the crossfader is centralised Assign a controller to it Mark up the tracks you want to solo with A or B buttons Crossfade away...... I...

Sps 1......no Live does not do this.....but it does not seek to replace Recycle. Recycle's primary function is to produce rex files for use in other programs where they may be further manipulated. It was and still is a powerful tool....eg for generating templates to quickly lock grooves and all mann...

Hi Ben Sounds like you are trying to run a track in the session view on the same track as the vox/guitar track in the arrange view. If you have the Vox/guitar say on track one you in the arrange you must leave that track clear of clips in the session view when you record rhythm overdubs....... best ...

Tap tempo sync
has anyone achieved any reliable results with this for say synching to decks?? Been trying it recently....want to do decks to laptop handovers -but it's so erratic as to be virtullay unusable for this purpose. Have any of you had any experience with Redsounds microsync for the same job? Thanks
Tim

Hi, I am using a Powerbook G4 1,25 GHZ and a M-Audio FW 410, only problem is that it is not working with my external FW800 drive. i emailed m-audio and that was their reply, Try connecting the FireWire drive to one of the ports on the back of the FireWire 410. The issue is that you can only have on...
