Re: A shorcut for EACH window's plugin editor
Set Auto Hide Plugin Window to on in Live's prefs and click on the spanner icon in each of Live's device objects for the plugins to make sure the window is in it's display state. Midi map the select bar at the top of each of Live's device objects for the plugins. This will, however, also select the ...

Re: MIDI Mapping Simpler Slicing
Chances are I'm misunderstanding you. They are already mapped.....starting from C1. You just need to make sure the pads on your controller are outputting the correct midi notes. You could reprogram the controller to get in the zone of the mapped samples or use a midi pitch effect in front of the sim...

Re: Need help to set up all my stuff
As above .....have you already got an audio interface or soundcard with inputs ? Another advantage of feeding the Volca into Ableton is that you can sample / record it.

Re: Lose my interface when I plug in my HDMI
Yosemite does it too

But you say your interface disappears from the audio preferences in Live ? What happens to the system preferences for default audio output ?

Re: Mac OS aggregate device for Live
Aggregate devices have always had a bit of hit and miss about them in my experience. But I'm afraid what you are attempting just isn't going to work out well for all sorts of reasons: Read this thread on Gearslutz. It's a year old but it will give you all the relevant information as to why you will ...

Re: I just upgraded to Suite from Standard, audio clips are midi
Ben you are, as Stromkraft has already pointed out, misunderstanding what is contained in each folder in the pack. Clips .alc (ableton live clip ) files. These are proprietary data files containing a midi clip and links to the devices that Live will load when you drag the clip into your set. When pr...

Re: Route DJay software in channel 1, MPC touch in channel 2 ?
Can you tell us a little bit more ? What are the specs of your laptop ? What workflow are you aiming at ? Jamming some stuff in on the MPC to mix with your Djay Pro tracks ? What controller are you using with Djay Pro ? You say it has an audio out as well ? You can run the MPC as a plugin within Liv...

Re: Looking for help programming microtonal Midi plugin
alt-tuner ? does that not do what you want ? http://www.tallkite.com/alt-tuner.html#buy It only works in Reaper. Not practical for live performance unfortunately. Need something that's just plain and simple MIDI, if it's possible. OK....I don't know enough about it but there appears to be a VST wra...
