those tubes are kind of a crock - notice the little LED's behind them. other than that the ESX seems pretty cool. I have little experience with it, but I like the way the sequencer is laid out. Real easy to program on the fly. I have only played with one in the music store, and need to return for so...

ok, I'll bite... I have a ton of analogs and I have worked on several since I am a tech. I have a few emulators as well including the nice stuff arturia makes. I will try and make this short and to the point - there is no real way to emulate all of the eccentricities of "analog" electronic...

It all comes down to the architecture of the processor. as many good feature that there are on that thing, I had to abandon mine. The keys were just too friggin small to use, and the pads felt cheap and unusable. Maybe they needed more time to break in or something. And when I went to resell it I had to lower the price a lot to get it to go on ebay... I ...

its the point where you are no longer able to percieve the latency. I guess that depends on how good your ear is - sometimes even at 11ms it'll sound chorusy or phasey. I usually just do my monitoring through a mixer, and shut the monitoring to off in Live. Since you can only record one channel at a...
