There is no such thing as MIDI volume. There is a velocity plugin that will scale the MIDI data, so you can use that. If there was a thing as a MIDI volume control on a MIDI Track, then it would scale down the values of incoming CC messages too. And what is CC7 for you????? :wink: Whatever I want i...

The volume sliders on a MIDI track are the same as on an audio track ...but not for an external instrument http://www.ableton.com/r2/pages/live_7/whats_new/home/improved_midi_timing.png :x If you want to control an external instrument, you can also use MIDI CC7 ...right, but without volume http...

i dont know what you want to do with that, but maybe the midiplugin velocity is what you're searching for? I FOUND THIS SOFT COMPLETLY UNUSEFUL FOR PLAYING WITH EXTERNAL HARDWARE SYNTH FROM CLAVIA.IT'S A SHAME.
