thanks for the reponses guys. hmm, decisisions, decisions. I know that the PCI tech is soon to be dead but i reckon i can still get about 2 years out of my PC. In that time i'm hope that they release an updated card that supports the new technology and offers some sort of cheap upgrade type offer. S...

UAD DSP and Plugs

Hello all,

I'm thinking of purchasing the uad card and it's plugs to use within live with reason rewired..

Any people here have experience with the two.

Any tips/tricks/pitfalls would be much appreciated.

Regards - tosh.

Thanks for the info. That looks ok then as I don't use live to control reason. I've just run a test with a couple of loops with some plugs and it looks like it will be fine. I just recall a while back running something and it getting out of sync... maybe i was using live's midi clips at the time but...

PDC, Rewire, UAD

Hello Follks,

Has that Reason Rewire problem with PDC been fixed in 5.2?

I am looking at purchasing a UAD card which looks like it will need PDC to work properly.

I always work by having Reason rewired to Ableton. I haven't hit this snag lately coz i've minimized the amount of vts's I use.

Cheers.

I restart it and it recovers the track i was working on but it's very annoying. I have found a workaround.. everytime I leave the pc...

Mine crashes also.. but in a strange way. I have Live re-wired to Reason and when i go down to the kitchen to make some coffee and get some food I'll get back to the pc and Live will have crashed. It's no longer there... it vanishes. It seems as though if you leave it running without doing anything ...

Yep, getting distortion with the powerfx aswell. DO NOT BUY EMU!!!!! It's rubbish. I bought the 1820m studio and have had way too many problems. When you contact there support with regards to problems with their products, eg driver problems with the 1820m, they give you the stock standard reply of &...
