My experiences with 10.2
-- Still get sound outage problems under 10.2 (Builds 6C76 and 6C92) with Live -- No support for routing monitor sound to internal sound adapter (isn't that a problem with Live only supporting one sound adapter, though?) -- Mouse pointer is very jumpy when getting past 60% CPU usage -- Just running ...

One problem..
..is that if you have two scenes playing at the same time, they are both eating up CPU, irregardless of volume. I am often running a scene that can get up to 80% CPU usage. So it would be difficult to crossfade to another scene that already starts at 20-30% without suffering sound problems. Perhaps ...

Yep...
I saw the first part on the Download page but was just wondering what the small improvements were, if any were related to OS X support.

Technique as a workaround?
When working on a set, I set up certain clips to be in one scene and to be in the next, by a copy-and-paste routine. While playing a scene, I use dials to turn down the volume and sends of the clips that will not be in the next scene, and leave the volume and sends of the certain clip (or clips) unc...

QuickTime Streaming Server?
How about QuickTime Streaming Server? The latest version is pretty easy to set up for music files and such, not sure about real-time input though. Perhaps Broadcaster could help with that...

-- Altivec-enhanced code (Live and plug-ins) Performance between G3 and G4 chipsets is more or less the same, everything else being equal, until Altivec enhancements are made to code that can be enhanced, at which point G4s fly! For example, the Reverb plug-in eats about 30% or more CPU! I am certai...

Pocket Dial preset
The aforementioned preset will turn the knobs on a Pocket Dial into note up/down switches. I find the preset that works best for me is: 01001110 if I want to use the knobs for a 0-127 gradient. Thing is that the knobs act as absolute pots, instead of relative. I'm still trying other presets to see i...

sound drop-outs and defects under OS X 10.1.5 + Live 1.5.1
I was wondering if anyone else has run into sound defects under OS X 10.1.5 and Live 1.5.1? My setup is as follows: -- iBook / 600, 384 MB, Mac OS 10.1.5 -- Event1 Ezbus (USB sound input and output) Once I get to about 45% of CPU usage, I get sound defects where sound either drops out or is severely...
