Remember, the encoders like everything on the MK are absolute in value from 0 to 127. If you know the value in the lcd for your encoder when it hits 0, it will always be the same number. thats right. You can't do that. exactly.
Having the microkontrol scenes built around different midi channels will keep your paramaters from jumping to a new value the second you change scenes. however, as soon as you touch that knob it will originate at the value of the the last scene, 0, 67 or 124 as you mentioned. Not fun.

this is a copy of my comments on the microKontrol full key thread: I've always had a piano in my life, so if anyone SHOULD be a snob about action, weighted keys, and muscle memory, it should be me. Truth is for me, 1) smaller keys don't take more reorienting to than, say, taking a pair of sun glasse...
