Re: Max For Live Vendors?
Putting in my order, S4racen, thanks for doing what you do. I'm inferring that Follow has its own development cycle. These really look very utilitarian, and immediately speak to my style of playing. Yeah, I love the Hadron too. Manageable controls out in the open, hugely versatile, inspiring sound. ...

Re: Changing Patches Live - The Solution
Let me understand this: by not putting them in separate chains, do you mean putting them all on the same chain number in a rack and muting that group or turning off the devices for all the one's you're not using? Or do you mean putting all the ivsts into separate pads on a multi-device drum rack? Be...

Re: Max For Live Vendors?
Man, what I would do to have Hadron not suck the life blood out of my old dj laptop. It's just a fascinating device, and the preset strategy that these guys outlined in a scientific paper is worth understanding. Are the isotonic modular utilities going to hit my CPU as hard? I'm guessing not nearly....

Re: anyone here know of a way to "drum-replace" with Ableton
extract grove from drum recording
move resulting midi clip into track with drum instrument of choice
shift the C3 (right? or is it C1?) hits of the original clip to the correct corresponding pads

Re: using two interfaces - sync issues?
Just skimmed, but if you didn't mix on the board, sync wouldn't be your problem, latency will. Aggregate devices are possible in Audio Midi setup utility, but it's really not helpful. In your situation, I suspect you'd be dealing with gitter ("filling in between the samples" isn't quite th...

Re: [AUREX DEVICES] MFX-1: .adg master effects rack
Drank the cool-aid, gulp. Really nice results you're getting here. I'll see what you mean about CPU overhead-I tend to really slum it for performance- because my routing and tricks will spike Live easy enough. But I bet I can use any of these as a "featured guest" macro without any worries...

Re: Exporting/rendering all tracks with send effects printed
Just skimming, (teaching myself about Resampling) but how about freezing the track then digging in the browser for your processed folder and then dragging that track file back out?

Re: Magic sends not so magical anymore :/
Aweeeezy: see if you haven't changed your levels on the polarity reversing channel or any of the return tracks you're playing with. If they're anything but unity gain, all bets are off for canceling the original signal. And once you fiddle with it, I'm really not sure how one can get the canceling b...

Re: Novation Nocturn or something similar?
No, you're correct. Sure you can map it to plenty of CC's which I think is what scrondle is getting at. But you are still obliged to go through the Automap MIDI port, which is a software port, pops automap up on the screen (which I suspect can cause some ableton crashes depending on what you want to...

Re: Novation nocturn potmeter problem
Ok, I was in denial. My encoders are acting up too. The jitters appear in the automap overlay as well, not just on my parameters. Thing is, one knob with jitters doesn't even move the parameter I assigned it to, so I figured that my remote script was the culprit. No such luck. Still a mystery. Spork...

Re: Novation nocturn potmeter problem
I'm having the same problem, yet I suspect there is something else behind it. My default mapping does not come up if my default live library isn't connected or if my other controllers are not connected. I have automap pro. In this scenario, when not all my gear is connected, I get a separate default...

Re: Max For Live Ready for Live Performance?
Mad and Odd, Those are two very solid positions on my performance concerns with M4L. Thank you! You know, I do some occasional HTML, and if I'm publishing something for the web, I'd put it through the latest validator. I might have thought that at some point, MAX would use a wrapper as some indicati...
