It might be a good idea to purchase 1 CDJ1000. My current setup is 2 CDJ1000 + 1 Technics 1200 + G4 powerbook running Live 5 and all connect to XONE 92 which has midi capabilities. The reason why I wrote my setup is to show what it can do all together..I use CDJ1000 for my CD collection i.e getting...

The A+H mixers sound path is excellent. They blow away the pioneer mixers that you see in every club. The fliters are excellent and you can get very creative with the eq. Add that to the midi functionality and you have a super dooper system. if you come to sell the mixer it will also hold its price....

Ableton, stop pandering to requests from the Mp3 I wanna be a deejay tomorrow brigade and add this much needed and STANDARD feature. Do we have to wait until ver 6 for this. I...

SENDS Put a reverb on the first Return track (at the very right of the screen). Make sure the reverb mix is at 100%. This means all that will come out of that channel is a fully saturated reverb signal which is usually what you would want. To hear the reverb start moving the send 1 on any of your au...

the sends create energy by sending it to the crowd, the return channels are where you can hear their thoughts appologies. Where I come from this is like asking 'what is a leg'. My only wishes would be for multiple monitor support, tear-off palettes, and customizable skin colors. Otherwise, the graphics are fantastic. If I wanted a 3-d reflective brushed-metal glowing LED look with shadows, radiosity, caustics, etc, I'd buy a hardware synth. Wasting computer power just to ...
