There is no mixer in arrange view. There are some boxes with paramaters that relate to volume. But a mixer this is not. I'm sorry, but why on earth not? I can turn the volume up and down, mixing the volumes to create my final mix - surely that makes it mixer enough? And you click the parameter and ...

if you guys really need terminolgy call yourselves a CDJ (Computer DJ) I personally found it much to embarrassing using Live only to dj with. That wont change for a long time and contrary to what a number say on here Spinning on a platter isnt going to die out anytime soon especially with Fin...

Re: Ableton-the biggest advance in technology since the samp

Hi folks, Surely this is the end of CDJ's and Vinyl? And surely it represents one of the biggest technological advances in electronic music since the sampler arrived? Beat matching sucks - now we can all just get on with being truly creative. Loz Im not trying to Bitch on Ableton, but this is noit ...

When rendering a 24bit master (sometimes and with no pattern) only one channel from the stereo buss is rendered?? No idea why. I just render again and most times it works.

At last someone mentions this. Ive never mentioned it myself as I have no idea why VSTs are overly loud in Luve, so is Lives own virtual instruments especially impulse. Another thing that bugs me is the effect return channels are to low. I shouldnt have to stick the utility plugin on nearly every re...

It was a sort of odd reinterpretation of what I imagine is a common activity in Europe. . yeh thats right. Everyone in Europe is listening to Kraftwerk in their cars. In fact I think it was going to be part of the new EU constitution which is thankfully dead in the water. A bit like your post reall...

Is this the original Ableton Live?

I recall using this software or something like it many years ago. Interesting to note its called Live, has a performance and arrange mode and even the look is not far from ableton Live. The rights to this software have been bought. Wonder if its Ableton? http://tamw.atari-users.net/liveplus.htm Did ...
